Game violence isn't bad, it is just how you use it.

Media Violence is usually a bad thing। With game violence it’s a different thing। It is made to give entertainment on something you might not want to do. On some shooting games or action adventure games they give you control to do as you want. They are giving you a feel on fantasy. Others set you up on want you should do and give you real effects. When some one is playing a game, they have enough knowledge to know it is not real life. If they play violent games they know that they are playing it. The games do not tell the player to go and be crazy on the streets. The people put it in their mind to go out in do it. The creators make games about what they see are selling the most. Since some of the highest selling games are violent, they are going to make theirs’ violent if not more violent. The main issue is the people who are imitating a fictional game. The violence in the games is also seen differently on other genders or other ethnicities. In some people’s minds, they think that someone should act as they are portrayed in the media, like games, and they do as so. Different people have different affects from violence that is in games. Some know how to handle it, while others can not keep control of what is real and what is not. With game violence, it’s not forced on you like movies. On certain games they actually give you consequences for doing real life things wrong. On games like Grand Theft Auto if you shoot a policeman on assault them the police will come after you, which is a good example for people not to do that. It should also be common sense that if you die, you will not come back to life. Game violence is not as bad as you would think.

This essay is a little out there. You say that violence is OK, but violence is clearly repeated outside of video games

You are right. violence in video games is not wrong. It is not the violence that kills people, it is the people that imitate it. Guns dont kill people, people do. Video games dont kill people, people do.
